People who want to run a weblog, but don't own webspace which supports PHP, should give Thingamablog a try: It creates the whole blog as static pages locally on your computer. As a result your webspace doesn't need to support any special technology, anymore. Sadly, Thingamablog lacks some features which are unlikely to be given later, since its development cycle is very slow (or has even stopped). This was the reason why FaVorithSoft developed this patch for the open source tool, which not only fixes a little bug in the user interface and improves the Insert Special Character feature (ISCIM=Insert Special Character IMproved), but also implements a very handy Wikilink feature. This feature enables you to interlink blog entries, even if you don't know the URLs of them (which is the rule, since URLs are automatically created by Thingamablog in a manner you can hardly guess). The FaVorithSoft Wikilink + ISCIM extension for Thingamablog 1.0.6 is already very popular in the Thingamablog community and got great feedback.
This program requires the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) in version 6 or higher!
